Member Cannot Be Removed

What it means

Removing this membership would leave the organization without someone who can run it, so the request was refused.

This usually points at your integration's setup rather than anything the end user did. Show the end user a generic message like "Something went wrong on our end.", and log detail for your own debugging.

How to fix it

1. 1.

   The membership belongs to the owner of the organization.

   The owner keeps their membership for as long as they own the organization. Hand ownership to another admin first, then remove the old owner.

2. 2.

   The membership is the last admin in the organization, and removing it would leave nobody able to manage members, tokens, or settings.

   Promote another member to admin, then try again.
